cost effective solution for education
Here I was called in to replace a site that already had a full content management system which staff were finding too complicated to use. (NB not the CAST system which I endorse!) The site was produced to be easy to edit, but had to take into account the limited budget of the school and was thus provided in "East Edit" pages. So far, reports back are that despite multiple editors, the site is proving easy to update.
The site as a whole has a dynamic and professional appearance and yet templates are not overly complicated for staff trying to update.
There a few extra features such as the online contact forms under "Contact Us" and the photo montage on the top of each page. The montage is designed to update automatically on every page load, from a directory of photo images. All the school has to do to keep the images fresh and up to date is replace a few photos in the directory every now and then - they will appear in the random selection automatically.
